Cuddle Therapy With Heart and Intention

SAT may be supportive if you're experiencing:

  • Loneliness or touch deprivation

  • Stress, anxiety, or burnout

  • Grief, divorce, or major life transitions

  • A desire to practice healthy boundaries and consent

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or others

  • A longing for safe, platonic human connection

Somatic Attention Therapy (SAT) is a form of professional cuddle therapy centered entirely around you. Through platonic human touch, compassionate presence, and undivided attention, SAT helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, ease loneliness, and remind your body what it feels like to be safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.

In a world where many of us spend our days giving, performing, or holding everything together, SAT offers something beautifully simple, a place where you don't have to earn care. You can simply arrive exactly as you are and allow yourself to receive.

Every session is unique because every person is unique. Together we create an experience based on what feels supportive in that moment. We might cuddle while listening to music, watch a favorite show, chat about everything from everyday life to life's biggest questions, practice grounding exercises, or simply sit together in comfortable silence. Some clients laugh, some cry, some process difficult seasons of life, and some simply enjoy the peaceful feeling of being with another caring human being. Whatever unfolds, I meet you with warmth, curiosity, and acceptance.

At its heart, SAT is about helping people feel seen, heard, and deeply understood. I know how painful it can be to feel invisible or misunderstood, and I also know how healing it is when someone truly listens without trying to fix you. That quiet feeling of "oh...I'm not alone" can be profoundly restorative, and it's one of the greatest gifts I hope every client experiences.

Beyond emotional support, SAT also helps meet one of our most fundamental human needs, safe, platonic touch. Research continues to show that caring touch can help regulate the nervous system, lower stress, reduce feelings of isolation, support trauma recovery, and improve overall emotional well-being. Many clients also discover greater confidence in expressing their needs, practicing boundaries, and experiencing consent as something collaborative, respectful, and empowering.

SAT can be supportive for people who are experiencing loneliness, grief, divorce or breakups, major life transitions, chronic stress, touch deprivation, relationship challenges, or anyone longing for a safe place to slow down and reconnect with themselves.

You don't have to enjoy cuddling to benefit. Sessions are always client-led. If you'd rather spend our time talking, sitting quietly, taking a walk, sharing tea, or simply having a compassionate witness to your experience, that's completely welcome. There is no "right" way to have a session. My role is to meet you where you are and support what feels most nourishing for you.

Consent & Boundaries

SAT is built on mutual consent, clear communication, and genuine respect. You're encouraged to ask for what you need, and both of us always have the freedom to say yes, no, or "I'd prefer something different." Because I only participate in forms of connection that I genuinely feel comfortable offering, you can trust that my presence is authentic and wholehearted. I want to be there, not because I have to, but because I choose to.

This mutual respect creates something many people rarely experience, a relationship where both people's boundaries matter, and where care and honesty exist together.

A Few Grounding Guidelines

SAT is always 100% platonic. We both wear at least a tank top and shorts, and touch remains within areas that would be covered by a swimsuit.

My intention is to provide nurturing, therapeutic connection and not romantic or sexual interaction. If you're looking for sexual services, this isn't the right fit, and I wish you well in finding what you're seeking elsewhere.

Sometimes arousal happens because the human nervous system naturally responds to warmth, closeness, relaxation, or touch. There's nothing shameful about that. If it arises, we'll simply shift positions, redirect our focus, or take a moment to reset while keeping the therapeutic intention of the session intact.

My Space

Sessions take place in my cozy office in Duluth, intentionally designed to feel like a gentle exhale. You'll find a queen-sized floor mattress, a six-foot beanbag chair, comfortable couches, faux fur rugs, soft lighting, fluffy pillows, and luxurious blankets that invite your body to settle and relax. My hope is that the space itself feels like being wrapped in a warm hug.

I warmly welcome adults (18+) of every body size, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and background. You don't need to look a certain way, be outgoing, or have everything figured out. Your body is welcome exactly as it is.

I only work with people who are genuinely seeking platonic care and respectful human connection. Maintaining that clarity allows everyone who walks through my door to relax, trust the process, and know exactly what kind of space they're entering.

Whether you've been carrying loneliness, heartbreak, exhaustion, or simply the weight of always being the strong one, SAT offers an opportunity to set that burden down for a little while.

You deserve to feel safe. You deserve to feel connected. And perhaps most of all, you deserve moments where you don't have to carry the world alone.
